Neptune Energy was formed into a significant E&P player when the Engie E&P business was purchased in February 2018.
This presentation will give an overview on the Neptune global portfolio, talking about the company vision and agenda.
It will then move onto to talk about the UK specific assets; the Cygnus assets which came online in 2016, providing 6% of the UK indigenous gas supply through complex completion designs, and the new Seagull HPHT project which is expected to produce in 2021.


Mike Hartley has more than 25 years of experience in well operations and engineering. For the last 5 years he has worked on the GDF / GDF Suez / Engie and now Neptune Energy assets.

He was Well Integrity Team Leader at BP in the UK and Norway, responsible for well integrity engineers and wellhead specialists, from 2011 to 2014. Previously he was a Subsea Intervention Engineer, responsible for selecting and planning subsea interventions. He has been a Petroleum Engineer at BP, an Intervention Engineer at ConocoPhillips, a Drilling Engineer at Talisman Energy, a thru Tubing Engineer at Weatherford. He started his career art Schlumberger where he worked in various product lines.

Full payment of the event rate you have selected must be paid in advance of the event day or you will be asked for payment on registration. If payment is not received then you will not be granted entry to the conference.

We recognise that on occasions delegates will book onto events and subsequently find that they are unable to attend. In these situations we ask that delegates notify us of their need to cancel an event booking as soon as possible.

Our cancellation policy is as follows:

Please send cancellation details to the event organiser by email or by telephone.

Please inform the event organiser if you wish to send a replacement delegate, including their requirements (e.g. dietary, access etc). Please supply their full contact details so that any advance paperwork can be supplied directly to the replacement.

If you notify the organisers of your cancellation up to two weeks prior to the event, we will provide a full refund.

If you notify the organisers of your cancellation less than two weeks prior to the event the full cost will be payable and only delegate substitution will be allowed.

Where you have booked a place and do not attend without notifying the organisers of your cancellation the full fee will be payable.
