Uniting the Industry for a Secure and Sustainable Future
Call for Abstracts – Open Until 11 November 2022
DEVEX is the only technical conference of its kind which is focused on the full E&P project cycle; from exploration, appraisal, development and production (early, mid and late life) through to CCUS and decommissioning. DEVEX has now been providing excellent opportunities for geoscientists, geophysicists, geologists, petrophysicists, reservoir engineers and petroleum engineers to come together and share knowledge for 20 years.
Energy Security and Sustainability is one of the key challenges facing society today. The conference will consider this subject and ask the industry: “What are we doing to accelerate projects, reduce costs, increase production and reduce emissions?”
DEVEX 2023 will be a platform to share ideas and lessons learned that have led to material gains and optimised performance; ultimately driving increased energy security and sustainability. This will be delivered via a series of keynotes, case histories, techbytes, masterclasses and networking sessions.
For more information on the themes for this year’s conference, download the DEVEX 2023 flyer here.
This Call for Abstracts is an opportunity for companies to share both lessons learned, and the innovative ideas that are being deployed. We invite companies to submit a short (200 word) abstract indicating the type of presentation preferred – either a formal (20 minute) presentation or a Techbyte (5 minute) presentation (can be more sales oriented). There is also the opportunity to offer educational, or training-based talks, which we brand as ‘Masterclasses’ – refreshing & reviewing technical areas of your choosing.

SPE Aberdeen, PESGB and AFES are not for profit organisations. Raising sponsorship is crucial to help us to reduce the ticket cost and maximise attendance, deliver a successful conference and to enable the organising charities to re-invest back into industry and society. By supporting this event, not only are you providing an important knowledge sharing and training opportunity for the industry, but you are also helping to support our future generation of young engineers and geoscientists. Full payment of the event rate you have selected must be paid in advance of the event day or you will be asked for payment on registration. If payment is not received then you will not be granted entry to the conference.
