Abstract:

Strategic field management decisions must be supported by risk assessment studies. However, integrating and propagating uncertainties across domains is still a major challenge. This presentation will focus on Big Loop: a solution that automates and integrates multi-domain workflows. It combines the domain of static and dynamic modeling and includes a machine learning assisted history match solution. The output is an ensemble of geologically-consistent reservoir representations capturing the true range of possible reservoirs. Analysis of the ensemble of models provides reliable and highly valuable insights for identifying the most promising field development plan, minimizing costs and protecting return on investments.

Biography:

Camille Cosson works in the Emerson E&P Reservoir Modeling and Engineering team. She is an expert in geological modeling and has worked on various field studies in Europe, Africa, Southern America and Asia. She has knowledge in Petroleum Geoscience, Seismic Interpretation, and Reservoir Modeling, and provides expertise in integrated reservoir studies.  She holds a MSc degree in Petroleum Geoscience from the National School of Geology in Nancy, France.
