This session will provide some practical tips and guidance on how to improve your own employability. The focus will be on improving your CV so you can effectively sell yourself to prospective employers, utilising social media, in particular Linkedin for better effect, and you can prepare more effectively for a job interview. The session will also provide a direction towards career management/development.
Mr. Campbell Urquhart has over 25 years of experience at Board Level in recruitment / selection, outplacement and organisational development. He is Managing Director at White Cube Consulting Ltd. and has recently joined the Advisory Board for the University of Aberdeen’s MA programme. He combines business experience with the ability to think creatively, to provide innovative, practical solutions to clients’ people and business challenges.
His previous roles are MD of human resources consultancy The Urquhart Partnership Ltd., Advisory Board member of Geomec, a Stavanger based Geomechanics Company and many more
He holds a degree from Banff Academy and his specialities are Staff and interim recruitment, assessment and development centres, coaching, mentoring, training workshops, psychometric testing and behavioural profiling, competence assessment, outplacement, redundancy, outsourcing, human resources / HR consultancy in organisational development, policies and procedures, performance management, job evaluation, contracts of employment and salary surveys
He has also held Board level appointments in the charity sector as Trustee of VSA and Vice Chair of CLAN.
