Renata Halim is an energy leader with more than 15 years of experience delivering value across operations, major capital projects, sustainability, and organisational leadership within the energy sector.
Currently as HSSE Manager for Operated Assets at Adura, she works closely with asset leadership teams to integrate risk management, operational performance, regulatory strategy, and business objectives. Her career has spanned offshore production operations, major North Sea developments, environmental stewardship, governance, and energy transition initiatives, providing a broad perspective across both project and operational environments.
Renata is particularly passionate about developing future leaders and creating inclusive, high-performing cultures. As Chair of the SPE Aberdeen People & Culture Committee, she leads initiatives focused on professional development, diversity and inclusion, mentoring, and volunteer engagement across the Aberdeen Section.
She holds master's degrees from Imperial College London and the University of Gdansk and has completed postgraduate studies in Strategic Analysis for the Energy Sector and Strategic Leadership at Robert Gordon University. Combining technical expertise with a strong focus on governance, people leadership, and organisational performance, Renata is passionate about helping individuals and organisations navigate complexity, develop future talent, and create lasting value.
Gabriela is a strategic and results-driven business partner leading global operations with a strong focus on performance, innovation, and sustainability. Accountable for delivering high-quality products and services through effective planning, equipment maintenance, and process optimization. Champion of digital transformation, standardization, and automation, including the successful implementation of a Repair & Maintenance Management System and predictive maintenance initiatives.
Key contributor to business-critical decisions and performance improvements, driving initiatives that enhance Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), reduce asset cycle time, and lower CO₂ emissions through condition-based maintenance and operational efficiency.
Leads continuous improvement programs across product line, focusing on cost reduction, digitalization, and novel technologies that align with environmental and operational goals. Actively involved in mentoring and talent development, promoting knowledge sharing and diversity across the industry.
Leader and technical contributor in international organizations such as the IADC and API technical committees for review and establishment of new industry standards.
Advocate for Diversity & Inclusion across the industry, leading initiatives focused on mentoring, knowledge-sharing, and fostering equitable opportunities that drive inclusive growth.
