Student Chapters
The Aberdeen Section is one of the largest of all the SPE Sections across the world with over 2,000 members.
In 2017 we won the President's Award for Excellence for the 8th year in a row - the only section to ever do so. These student chapters organise their own programmes of activities including guest speakers, participating in the global SPE Student contest PetroBowl and social events
SPE Aberdeen Section supports the student chapters with speakers, a cash grant, travel cost reimbursement and sponsorship of selected events such as attendance at PetroBowl regional and international finals.
