Using effective intervention techniques to bring back shut-in wells, extend the life of current assets, and prepare for end of well life all while reducing our carbon emissions is the focus of the 30^th SPE ICoTA European Well Intervention Conference.

Abstracts are now open and we want to hear your solutions, technologies and case histories that address these areas, with particular focus on:

• Restoring Well Integrity – Reinstating Shut-in Wells to Maximise Economic Recovery
• Production Enhancement in Aging Wells – Water, Sand and Scale Management, Stimulation, Artificial Lift etc.
• Logistics Challenges – Aging Basin, Aging Workforce, Aging Equipment?
• Data Acquisition and Surveillance – Advances in Logging and Analysis, Digitisation and Automation, Lower Cost Logging
• The Energy Transition – Emissions Reduction, Geothermal, Hydrogen, CCS and Gas Storage for Energy Security
• Well Decommissioning – Reducing Costs, Novel Techniques and Technology, Batching and Well campaigns
• New Wells – Abandonment Ready Design, Tie Backs, New Fields and Field Redevelopment Projects
• Regulatory and Fiscal Regime in a Mature Basin – Maximise Economic Recovery, Repurpose and Decommission
• Coiled Tubing Operations – Mechanical and Pumping Operations to Extend Well Life

We are also interested to hear Europe-wide examples, Operator/Service company collaborations and lessons learned.

How to submit your abstract

Companies are invited to submit abstracts of no more than 200 words for presentations lasting 20 minutes or for 5 minute ‘Techbytes’ (shorter sales-oriented pitches)
