For 23 years, DEVEX has been the only technical conference of its kind to focus on the full E&P project cycle; from exploration, appraisal, development and production, through to CCUS and decommissioning. DEVEX 2026 will draw on decades of industry experience to help shape our future, by providing a platform to share innovative ideas, lessons learned and inspire new ways of working.
We look forward to welcoming geoscientists, geophysicists, geologists, reservoir engineers, petroleum engineers and all Young Professionals to the 23rd DEVEX Conference in April in Aberdeen!
DEVEX YP AND EARLY CAREERS EVENT
29th April | 14:00-17:00
Dutch Mill Hotel, Queen’s Road, Aberdeen
This is a free event as part of DEVEX 2026. Thereafter,
delegates can attend the main Networking Reception at the
Chester Hotel from 17:00.
The Young Professionals (YP) event will explore Artificial
Intelligence (AI), and how it is transforming subsurface
workflows. This session will highlight applications of AI
that enhance productivity and decision-making, as well
as streamline technical processes. The event will feature
presentations, live demos from AI experts, and a panel
discussion focused on building critical skills needed for career
longevity and navigating evolving industry.

Join us for drinks, reconnect with your peers and meet some
new contacts at the DEVEX Networking Reception!
CORE
As always, we will have Core on display which will be situated
in the catering and exhibition area. Further details of the type of
Core will be revealed soon!

Full payment of the event rate you have selected must be paid in advance of the event day or you will be asked for payment on registration. If payment is not received then you will not be granted entry to the conference. We recognise that on occasions delegates will book onto events and subsequently find that they are unable to attend. In these situations we ask that delegates notify us of their need to cancel an event booking as soon as possible.
Our cancellation policy is as follows: Please send cancellation details to the event organiser by email or by telephone. Please inform the event organiser if you wish to send a replacement delegate, including their requirements (e.g. dietary, access etc). Please supply their full contact details so that any advance paperwork can be supplied directly to the replacement. If you notify the organisers of your cancellation up to two weeks prior to the event, we will provide a full refund. If you notify the organisers of your cancellation less than two weeks prior to the event the full cost will be payable and only delegate substitution will be allowed. Where you have booked a place and do not attend without notifying the organisers of your cancellation the full fee will be payable.
