What does it take to install a new facility in the North Sea in 2025…
Penguins FPSO is the latest new facility installed in the UK. The facility was constructed in China, commissioning in Norway and is now on station in the Northern North Sea, delivering much needed energy to our country with 30% fewer emissions than the previous evacuation route, Brent Charlie.
In February 2025, Shell restarted production from the Penguins field in the UK North Sea with a modern floating, production, storage and offloading facility (FPSO) which will extend the life of the field by 20 years and is helping supply the secure energy the country needs.
Learn from Shell the challenges that we faced, the learnings we can share and highlight why the People and culture are so important in delivering exceptional business outcomes.
