The Brent Spar, known as Brent "E", was a North Sea oil storage and tanker loading buoy in the Brent oilfield. With the completion of a pipeline connection to the oil terminal at Sullom Voe in Shetland, the storage facility became redundant by 1991.

The Decommissioning of the Brent Spar became an issue of public concern in 1995.

Ian will share some of the early day challenges and how "The Brent Spar Decommissioning Project" changed Decommissioning policy in the UKCS.

Arrival from 6pm for a 6.30pm start.
