NORTH SEA 2026: DELIVERING MULTI‑ENERGY PERFORMANCE AT SCALE

The Chester Hotel, Aberdeen 17–18 NOVEMBER 2026

2026 Marks 10 Years of Topsides UK

The North Sea is entering the most consequential decade in its history. In 2026, the basin is no longer defined solely by oil and gas production - it is becoming a fully integrated multi-energy system where hydrocarbons, carbon storage, offshore wind, hydrogen, and electrification must coexist, reinforce one another, and deliver measurable performance improvements. Topsides engineering sits at the centre of this transformation.

Topsides UK 2026 brings together the operators, engineers, innovators, and supply chain leaders who will shape this new era. The conference focuses on the practical realities of delivering safe, efficient, low-emissions operations while enabling the infrastructure required for large-scale CCS, electrification, and clean energy integration. This is not a theoretical transition; it is a technical, commercial, and regulatory shift that demands new capabilities, new partnerships, and new performance standards.

Call for Abstracts

Topsides UK invites authors to submit papers for the 2026 conference, which will explore how the North Sea is evolving into a fully integrated multi‑energy basin. As the industry accelerates carbon storage, electrification, emissions reduction, and late‑life performance, topsides engineering is at the centre of this transformation.

The 2026 programme will showcase practical, technical, and operational insights that help operators and suppliers deliver measurable performance improvements across oil & gas, CCS, offshore wind, and hydrogen. We welcome papers that demonstrate innovation, real‑world application, lessons learned, and cross‑sector collaboration.

What Are We Looking For?

The conference committee invites professionals from across the industry to submit a 200-word abstract for either a 20-minute presentation or a 5-minute TechByte session.

For further information on the themes we are looking at this year, please download the Call for Abstracts flyer from the Downloads section above.

Submit your abstract by Friday 19th June using this link.
