2025-26 Student Bursary Award Presentations!

Last night at the Douglas Hotel in Aberdeen, the winners of our 2025-26 Student Bursary Awards were presented with their certificates by Graham Skinner, Chair of the Student Development Committee. SPE Aberdeen Vice Chair Joe Sherratt interviewed overall winner, Mozdeh Igder (pictured above with Graham), a PhD student at Herriot Watt University, on stage. 

We would also like to recognise three highly commended winners of the runner up prizes Barbara Kopydlowska, Mohammad Saeid Tayebi and Shabnam Mohammadi.
The bursary competition is a highlight of the SPE Aberdeen calendar and one of the many ways we invest in the next generation of industry leaders. The judging panel are taking a well deserved break before starting the process again laster in 2026.
